Ray, the electrician, came today and fixed the lawnmower, so I was able to cut the grass. How good to have a working lawnmower after last year's problems with it. Cleared out the recycling area, next to the incinerator, and lit yet another fire. Here's the shed after a massive clear out.  During the last three days Ben Hur and Aloy removed the rotten plywood ceiling in Delia's room, and under the landing in the living room, treated the supporting beams with Solignum, and put up a new ceiling. The old one had been attacked by termites. Siliconed the shower tray on Thursday, and started digging the gulley at the edge of the road, to help the drainage. It always fills in and grows onto the road while we're away. Here is where the road has been extended 200m up the mountain track, as far as we can see from the house. Am back to running on M-W-T, and am losing weight at last - 6lb so far. We're thinking of trips to Mindoro, where we hope to meet boxer Teddy Baldock's grandson, and Davao.
